We’re excited to introduce Rocio Bunker, Instructor Trainer and Examiner, originally from La Paz, Mexico, now making waves in San Diego.
Rocio has trained recreational and professional divers all over the world and is passionate about using scuba to inspire the next generation to care for the ocean. She leads programs that open the underwater world—teaching essential diving skills, building confidence, and guiding them toward careers in ocean conservation.
Whether she’s teaching, diving, painting ocean-themed murals, or sharing stories on her social channels (@rocios_salty_log), Rocio’s mission is clear: connect people with the ocean and empower them to protect it.
Throughout DEMA Show 2025, Rocio will bring her signature enthusiasm to the Show Floor as our official Hype Ambassador, capturing spontaneous fun, spotlighting attendees and exhibitors, and hosting exciting competitions with awesome giveaways!
