Michael Fitzgerald is a seasoned scuba professional, entrepreneur, and industry leader with over 35 years of diving experience. As CEO of California Scuba Center Inc. and founder of multiple youth-focused and educational diving programs, he has built a reputation for developing innovative training models and revenue streams that extend far beyond traditional retail operations.

A Scuba Diving Instructor Trainer and Technical Rebreather Diver, Michael has dedicated his career to advancing diver education, business growth, and safety standards. His programs—ranging from youth camps to professional-level training—have reached thousands of students and created sustainable, multi-channel income opportunities for dive centers.

Michael is also an experienced presenter, having delivered engaging sessions for the California Gang Investigators Association, Fresno State University’s Criminology Department, Fresno Unified School District, and community organizations such as the Rotary Club. He has additionally served as an adjunct instructor with Kaplan College for two years, further strengthening his ability to educate and connect with diverse audiences.

In addition to his diving credentials, he brings a unique leadership perspective shaped by 23 years of service in the U.S. Army and 18 years in law enforcement. His combined real-world and business experience allows him to deliver practical, results-driven strategies that help dive center owners expand, diversify, and thrive.
