Jim is the CEO of Backscatter Underwater Video and Photo and a professional underwater photographer. In his more than 20 year career at Backscatter, Jim has tested, dived, and shot more underwater cameras than just about anyone else and is recognized as one of the top underwater photography experts in the world. He has also created a number of underwater photography strobes, lights, and accessories seen in the water today. Jim has authored numerous articles for the Backscatter website and many other publications, including authoring the Imaging+ column for Scuba Diving Magazine. He regularly leads instructional trips focusing on underwater photography.
