Gil Zeimer created thousands of projects over a 50-year career as an award-winning advertising copywriter, blogger, journalist, and travel writer. He earned his first PADI certification in 1985 and his most recent in 2025. Since 1994, as a passionate scuba storyteller, he’s authored more than 300 B2B and B2C scuba articles and newsletters for over 25 magazines and websites. A third-generation San Franciscan, he and his non-diving wife live in San Rafael, CA. His first book––“Scuba Storyteller: Mostly Humorous Tales of an Addicted AquaNut” –– featuring 65 of his favorite anecdotes, is available through Best Publishing.
