With more than 13 years in the Maldives, and one decade with Sub Oceanic, Florian contributed significantly to Sub Oceanic's position as leader in Training and Development possibilities for Locals in the Maldives.

Florian's passion for the underwater world let him hold a "Divers License" prior a Drivers License. That is rather uncommon considering his Bavarian background. In his role as General Manager, Florian has set up Sub Oceanic Maldives Dive and Water Sports Centers at Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort, Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa as well as at Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa. He knows each and every dive site around those Resorts. Florian has also discovered several new Dive Sites in the Maldives during his time with Sub Oceanic. That includes the famous Manta Cleaning station at Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort's House Reef.
