Executive Director, D3 Diving / Suex
United States

Casey McKinlay is the Executive Director of D3 Diving (Suex Distributor) and Project Director of the Woodville Karst Plain Project (WKPP), the world’s most advanced underwater cave exploration initiative. With over two decades of experience leading record-setting technical expeditions, Casey is globally recognized as a subject matter expert in diver propulsion systems, extended-range exploration diving, and underwater documentation.

At D3 Diving, Casey oversees strategy and field validation for a portfolio of mission-critical Suex DPV systems. Founded in 2013, D3 specializes in designing and distributing high-performance gear for cave, technical, and military diving applications, offering solution-driven consulting and training to retailers, teams, and agencies worldwide.

Casey continues to actively work in the field, leading new survey missions and documentation efforts. His unique perspective combines deep operational experience with a vision for making high-performance dive systems approachable for everyday divers, videographers, and instructors.

At DEMA 2025, Casey will share how both recreational and technical divers can harness DPVs as powerful tools for capturing dynamic underwater video—from capturing smooth reef flyovers on a GoPro to executing stable tracking shots deep inside flooded cave systems. With exploration credibility that few can match, Casey’s insights offer real value to anyone looking to elevate their dive storytelling or bring advanced gear into underwater cinematics.
