Welcome to Papua-Diving: Kri Eco resort & Sorido Bay resort

The remote archipelago of Raja Ampat lies off the North-Eastern coast of West Papua, Indonesia’s most easterly province (formerly known as Irian Jaya), which occupies the western part of the huge island of New Guinea.

This exotic & fascinating province is vast and consisting of many small islands covered in jungle. Indeed it was perhaps the last of the Earth’s regions to remain untouched by civilization. In 1770 Captain Cook and his landing party set foot on the western shores of the island and a volley of arrows sent them packing from a territory then inhabited by head hunters. Fortunately, a more welcoming reception awaits visitors these days.

Papua Diving is the pioneer of Raja Ampat for diving. With over 25 years experience in the region and 2 beautiful tropical resorts minutes from the best dive sites we offer an unparalleled experience. The opportunity to enjoy the World top dive sites and to relax in the comfort of a spacious tropical Island justifies the journey to this remote location.
