Shipwreck Discovery - Destin, FL: Diver Resource, Local Directory & Education/Conservation
Shipwreck Discovery is an innovative virtual reality (VR) experience developed specifically for the scuba diving industry and the global gaming community. This session will unveil how this immersive game serves as an educational tool, a local directory and a powerful fundraiser for marine conservation. Developed in partnership with the nonprofit Lionfish Central and Reef Smart Guides, Shipwreck Discovery offers divers and gamers the chance to explore full-scale, accurately mapped shipwrecks, practice diving techniques under customizable conditions such as visibility, currents, and wave action, and learn about local businesses - all while contributing directly to ocean conservation efforts.
