Overview
Reef Smart creates detailed 3D maps of the marine environment, particularly coral reefs and shipwrecks, which enhance the in-water experience of recreational divers and snorkelers, improve safety and provide new revenue streams for partner organizations. Our custom-made products include waterproof cards, laminated charts, weatherproof shoreline signage and digital interactive tools for websites and mobile applications. We also publish a rapidly expanding series of guidebooks, available in all major book retailers across North America and Europe. Our guidebook series currently includes Bonaire, Barbados, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Northwest Florida, Grand Cayman, and the Florida Keys, and will soon include Curacao. Reef Smart also provides services to help resorts and liveaboards promote diving and snorkeling including web-based 3D models and above water and underwater VR tours. Finally, our marine biology training for staff can help resorts implement sustainable use practices and offer a more environmentally aware experience for their guests.
