Overview

Fourth Element is the world’s leading sustainable dive brand. We’ve worked tirelessly to create products that deliver great diving performance with minimal impact on the environment and we never compromise on quality, durability or performance.  As world leaders in thermal protection, we continue to keep people warm from the bottom of the Antarctic Ocean to the top of Mount Everest.  Our product development continues to challenge the way things have always been done, minimising our impact on the environment where possible.  With users including FBI dive teams, the Norwegian Navy and the US National Parks Service, fourth element products are proven in the most demanding conditions worldwide.  New products at this year's DEMA event include new additions to our mask, fins and snorkel range, technial outerwear, Oceanpositive Hydrosuit as well as many more products never shown before. Come and see us to build your own DEMA special to suit your needs.

  Products

  • Seeker Mask
Available colours Grey, Deep Blue, Black with Clarity lens. Black with Contrast Lens.

    ...

  • The Seeker mask was designed with two main objectives: maximise the diver’s field of vision to be as close as possible to the experience of not wearing a mask using a single lens and to fit everyone – well, nearly everyone. New facial geometry was combined with a soft silicone skirt to provide an outstanding and comfortable fit.
  • Argonaut 3.0
    Evolution Becomes Revolution....

  • Enhanced design, greater flexibility and more ways to design your own personal drysuit.
Engineered to move with you, the new Argonaut 3.0 design allows perfect fit and freedom of movement when diving in trim.
AFT (Articulated For Trim). Optimised for diving in horizontal trim, the unique leg design of Argonaut 3.0 is designed for optimal comfort in the water, allowing unrestricted freedom of movement across the knees and thighs for complete comfort during your dive.
The redesigned telescopic torso fits more closely to the body for a more streamlined silhouette and the new warm neck collar allows hood skirts to be tucked away swiftly and securely.
With a composite dry zipper running from the right shoulder to the left hip, flexibility and fit are improved, as is gas management when dumping air from the left shoulder.

Argonaut 3.0 can be specified with glued-in latex or neoprene wrist seals, the Ellipse wrist system, Si-Tech, QCP Ultima, or the new intuitive PSI system.

Designed for fourth element’s award winning BIOMAP measuring system, this is a truly bespoke drysuit, made for adventure.

  • Arctic
    High Performance Undersuit....

  • Redesigned for 2024, the Arctic’s two layers of high insulation, low bulk fabric ensure exceptional levels of thermal protection.

Now with 80% recycled polyester in the outer and 100% recycled polyester in the internal layer, the Arctic undersuit system also becomes part of our mission to become OceanPositive.

Constructed with comfort and utility in mind, the minimalist design provides outstanding performance under drysuits. In a layering system, the Arctic is suited for use underneath neoprene, membrane and trilaminate suits. Using a unique combination of fast wicking, high insulation fabrics, the Arctic creates a micro-climate around the diver, keeping the body dry and warm. A high density inner fleece provides superior insulation, with maximum comfort and wicking, whilst the outer layer, which has a water-repellent finish, ensures a snug fit.

The Arctic requires less loft to perform due to more effective management of air which is held in the fibres of the suit. Instead of maximising the thickness of the layer of air near the skin, the Arctic minimises the movement of air within, reducing the rate of cooling without any risk of trapping the air and preventing its release from the dump valve.

The 2024 redesign is more than just producing a more OceanPositive product. It builds on more than 20 years expe- rience in developing thermal garments and the feedback from some of the many thousands of users of the original Arctic in the field. The Arctic top now features a full length zip allowing easier donning and greater adjustability during the surface interval, and the dropped height of the neck line ensures that there is not too much bulk around the neck. The addition of pockets and pre-drilled p-valve routing complement the modifications to the pattern to improve fit and therefore the overall thermal performance.

Backed by years of field testing by the Norwegian Navy, the British Antarctic Sur- vey Dive Team, the French Marines and the Danish Navy, the Arctic was designed using high technology fabrics and has been tested in real diving conditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic.

  • Thermocline.
A neoprene-free alternative to a traditional wetsuit, made with recycled nylon from post-consumer waste.

    ...

  • Thermocline provides a solution for many people who suffer from neoprene allergies either by replacing the traditional wetsuit entirely or acting as a barrier, reducing contact between the skin and the wetsuit itself.*

Perfect for all surface water sports as well as warm water scuba, this is revolutionary thermal protection. Lightweight, neutrally buoyant, machine washable, breathable and hypo-allergenic, the Thermocline full suit combines our experience with high technology fabrics with our passion for life in, on and under the water, to produce a truly versatile lightweight wetsuit system.

The fabric ensures that the wearer is more comfortable when out of the water, during surface sports, or when kitting up for a dive. The inner fleece layer draws moisture away from the skin and wicks through the breathable membrane where it evaporates off the Nylon surface. In the water, the membrane traps a thin layer next to the body and prevents colder water flowing over the body, perfect for surfers, freedivers and scuba divers.

Thermocline dries rapidly, often within an hour or between dives - a quick rinse and a squeeze to get rid of excess water before hanging it up inside out should ensure it is ready for your next adventure.

No more smelly neoprene suits - this wetsuit can be machine washed (we recommend using our Sub-30 environmentally friendly washing liquid). Store it safely with other garments and when packing for vacation there’s no need to worry about potentially damaging the fabric - it can be squeezed into that last remaining space in your luggage without any worries.
