Overview
Diveheart leads the field of scuba diving agencies offering adaptive diving experiences, adaptive techniques training, scuba therapy, and adaptive scuba certification courses. Diveheart started as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization with the intention of increasing confidence and independence in the lives of children, adults, and veterans with disabilities through scuba diving.
Diveheart facilitates adaptive scuba programs around the world, works with resorts and travel agencies to offer accessible dive trips globally, collaborates with universities and medical centers on scuba therapy research, and has hosted ten years of International adaptive scuba symposiums.
As a training agency, Diveheart offers experience-based courses for able-bodied divers and dive professionals to become buddies and instructors, ensuring that graduates are confident and secure in their skills before working with adaptive divers. Diveheart proudly collaborates with all agencies to offer certification courses for adaptive divers.
