The Reef Ball Foundation is an international environmental non-profit whose mission is to help restore our world’s ocean and natural reef ecosystems, and to emphasize and protect our natural reef systems through preservation, technology, innovative public education projects and community involvement. We work with governments, businesses, schools, research institutes, individuals and community organization and have over 5,000 projects in 77 countries around the world.
Our work includes designed reefs, ground breaking coral propagation and planting systems, estuary restoration, red mangrove plantings, oyster reef restoration, erosion control (often beach erosion), and expert collaboration on a variety of oceanic issues and educational projects in schools. The Reef Ball Foundation is proud to be a winner of Intel’s global environmental award, The Tech Award, for technology that benefits humanity as well as the national prize for environmental protection by the Classy Awards.
