Utila Lodge is the largest built-out-over-the-water structure on the entire island. No matter where you are on resort property, the Caribbean is splashing just a few feet below you. Our 8 rooms have queen and double sized beds. Each room has it’s own private screened in porch with hammocks for you to relax on. The bathrooms have dual vanities and hot water showers. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans, wifi, and cable TV. The amenities provide a perfect rustic Caribbean setting for your vacation.
The Bay Islands College of Diving serves as our dive training partner. Should you be interested in advancing your dive career or earning another dive certification, the College of Diving has you covered. As a 5 Star Career Development facility, they are one of the best dive shops on the island.
The Whale Shark & Oceanic Research Center serves as our non-profit research center. They are Utila’s authority on Whale Shark monitoring, data collection, and research. During your stay, you can visit their facility and hear presentations about their work at the Utila Lodge Bar.
