Health & Safety Protocols & Updates

DEMA Show is ON! DEMA Show is committed to hosting you in Las Vegas, November 16-19. After not having met in two years, we are more excited than ever to give our valued exhibitors and attendees the DEMA Show they know and love, and to get back to business.

DEMA Show will continue to follow the all guidance as prescribed by Clark County and Nevada Health Response. Of course individuals wishing to take additional steps beyond the government mandates can and are encouraged to do so.

The City of Las Vegas

Las Vegas has been extremely proactive in enacting measures to keep their city visitors safe - including mandating masks in-doors and including at large gatherings. DEMA Show follow the mandate of Las Vegas.

Last year at this time, events in Las Vegas were restricted to 250 people. Now, trade shows are taking place throughout the country with thousands in attendance, including in Las Vegas. In fact, there are numerous events scheduled to stage between now and DEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is evident that the trade show industry is making its way back and finding ways to navigate safety at these large gatherings - especially in the city of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority

The Southern Nevada Health District has put together resources to ensure you are able to find locations to be tested for COVID-19 if you are interested.

Located outside of North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, individuals can do COVID testing and results are received within (30) minutes using OnMed.

The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)

CLEAN FACILITY: The LVCC has been awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR certification, which demonstrates the highest standards for daily cleaning, air filtration, and sanitization. It is the gold standard for safe facilities and includes:

  • Deep cleaning the campus prior to the Show
  • Implementing enhanced sanitation with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, escalator handrails and seating areas
  • Utilizing electrostatic sprayers containing approved disinfectant on high-touch surfaces during off-peak hours
  • Adding UV lights to disinfect select areas
  • Sanitizing restrooms on an hourly basis
  • Increasing back of house cleaning frequency
  • Sanitizing all AV equipment between uses
  • Increasing frequency of waste removal

CLEAN AIR: The LVCC has invested in HVAC upgrades to allow for greater ventilation. Filters have a quality rating of MERV 14 which is the same as a hospital grade filtration system. The frequency of the filter changes and the outdoor air exchange rate have both been increased.

CLEAN HANDS: Keeping hands clean helps prevent the spread of germs, like COVID-19.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be placed in all public spaces, meeting room corridors, show floor areas and food and beverage areas.
  • Participants are encouraged to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

Take Extra Steps as Appropriate

DEMA is following the protocols set by the City and the Convention Authority in Las Vegas and will alter those if and when these government entities make a change. We encourage attendees to take any additional steps that will make them feel comfortable and safe.

Please check back to this page regularly as guidelines are subject to change.
