alamBatu Beach Bungalow Resort | Bali, Indonesia
The alamBatu Beach Bungalow Resort is a beautiful, comfortable dive resort located on the northeast coast of Bali in Indonesia, where Bali is still considered its most original. Nestled at the foot of the mother mountain ‘Gunung Agung’, the 4 acre resort fits perfectly into the terrace-shaped landscape with big lava cliffs extending into the sea.
Bungalows
alamBatu’s Balinese style bungalows built from local materials are situated perfectly into the landscape and arranged to ensure maximum privacy. Each bungalow has a generous-sized terrace with a view of the sea and comfortable outdoor bed, plus partially- covered bathrooms with outdoor showers. All 11 double bungalows are air conditioned and a single bungalow, the “Sendiri”, is also equipped with A/C.
Villa Ayam 1 & 2
Air-conditioned Villas Ayam 1 & 2 are ideal for families or guests who are looking for extra privacy. Located at the upper part of the resort with a private swimming pool and garden, Villa Ayam 1 can accommodate up to four people, while Villa Ayam 2 has room for two. They can be rented individually or together.
Villa Anton
Villa Anton is a single villa located near the dive center and is a great option for those who plan to spend most of their time diving. The more affordable villa accommodates two and has air-conditioning, but does not have a sea view.
Dive Center and Camera Room
The spacious dive center is steps from the ocean and features plenty of room to hang and store equipment. As a PADI 5 star dive center alamBatu is able to offer courses from Open Water to Divemaster. Two camera rooms near the dive center give everyone space to work and store their underwater camera systems. Rental Seacam units are also available.
House Reef Diving
The alamBatu house reef, situated directly off the resort, is a wonderful and mostly untouched half mile reef. Its diverse coral shelters a fantastic underwater world of sea life and is an outstanding place for underwater macro photographers. Our dive guides are great at spotting macro critters such as pygmy seahorses and other small species. Snorkeling is also available and is a good alternative to scuba diving.
Dining
alamBatu’s charming restaurant is open daily from 7:30 am – 11 pm. Located near the shore with fantastic views of the sea, it offers a variety of options from Balinese sweets to Indonesian dishes to Thai and European meals. BBQ’s and buffets are also offered regularly.
Spa
The immersion into water is a cleansing ritual in most religions. Built below the temple that guards the land with its gods, alamBatu’s massage house offers massages, body-scrubs and spas using natural ingredients like papaya, sea salt, coconut, honey, milk and nuts.
