Media is defined as a business periodical with a frequency of four diving-related publications per year; or book publishers with at least one diving-related title currently in print; or video, film, or media with at least one diving-related title in print or syndication; or a consumer or trade show that produces one major dive-related show per year; or a company whose primary activity, membership or income is derived from consulting in the dive industry. Media includes:
NOTE: Complimentary media registration is available to publishers, editors, writers and print or broadcast reporters at the discretion of DEMA. Review the DEMA Show Media Policies below for more information and requirements for obtaining DEMA Show media/press badges.
Media Policies at DEMA Show 2024
Credentialing
- Media must provide valid credentials for admittance.
- Only qualified media receive a complimentary badge, granting access to the show floor, education sessions, and the onsite media room.
- Media badges exclude admission to Special Events.
- DEMA Show Management reserves the right to deny credentials for misuse or false pretenses.
- Failure to report on DEMA Show may result in future media badge denials.
Required Credentials
Post-Show Requirement
- Approved Media must provide proof of coverage of DEMA Show 2024 within three (3) months following the close of the Show. Email proof to media@demashow.com.
Registration and Badge Pickup
- Advertising representatives must register as attendees through www.demashow.com or onsite.
- Approved Media Badges can be picked up onsite from express registration.
- Onsite registration for media is available at the Media Office.
- A valid photo ID is required for badge pickup.
Filming and Broadcasting
- Filming or broadcasting from the show floor requires express written permission from DEMA Show management.
Responsibilities
- Media representatives are responsible for coordinating their own transportation and covering associated expenses.
